The Don Chento Jazz festival was established in 2006 by the connoisseur of good music and good pizza Vladimir Katsman (the founder of the pizza chain "Don Chento". One ought to develop a comfortable environment at home for jazz. It’s one thing to observe reality from a luxury car and regret this reality is so unpleasant. But it’s another kind of thing to change this reality. Since we want to live here and get out of our cars, it’s our task to improve the reality and make it attractive for us. "Castle Jazz" in Klaipeda, festivals in Vilnius, Kaunas, Sopot and Gdansk are reference points for Don Chento Jazz as far as it's development is concerned. As a matter of fact Don Chento Jazz is comparable to these events thanks to its excellent program and high degree of organization. Regarding attractiveness, the Don Chento Jazz festival is good mood music.
